Wondering about the rocks and the trees,
Wandering around the world with endless possibilities.

I am an undergraduate in International Law at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. My areas of interest are International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Criminal Law.
It pains me to witness the daily suffering of vulnerable civilians in conflicts. Inspired by John Galtung’s idea that peace goes beyond the absence of war, I aim to use my knowledge to support marginalized people in the world.
I believe that free speech, empathy, respect for differences, and awareness of social norms are key to breaking stereotypes and empowering positive change. To this end, I have been hosting many events that provide quality debate education to underprivileged students across Vietnam. I have worked in the field of critical thinking, public speaking and debate education for more than 5 years, serving as a coach and a lifelong debater.
In my 5-year debating journey, I have initiated over 80 debate events nationwide, fostering a culture of free speech and sharpening youth's critical thinking and negotiation prowess. I have had the chance to collaborate with esteemed partners, from QTV to VTV, and various Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Ministries of Education in the region to amplify the impact. Debate tournaments attract thousands of participants due to their healthy competitiveness and learning culture.

In addition to debate tournaments, debate workshops are an integral part. These workshops not only teach fundamental debating skills but also delve into pressing social issues, providing strategies for navigating discussions and proposing solutions. I have been privileged to speak at numerous schools and universities nationwide, aiming to make debate education more accessible to Vietnam's youth. All workshops and events are non-profit and hosted with diligence and professionalism.

Beyond its role as a competitive sport, I see debate as a catalyst for change. It empowers individuals to speak up against injustice and advocate for equality. Debate helps people to better discuss interdisciplinary subjects, such as economic challenges, climate change, and human rights. Across diverse fields, debate fosters creativity, personal fulfillment, and social impact in professional endeavors. Therefore, I have tailored debate formats to different groups so they can better use the skills to serve their needs.

Speak to Inspire, Vietnam is the first ever English debate, public speaking and storytelling competition on the topic of sustainability. Collaboratively organized by Netflix, Point Avenue, and the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the initiative has elevated awareness among over 700 youths from 60 provinces across Vietnam on climate issues while nurturing a platform for positive change. I am honored to have collaborated with many distinguished experts in the field, serving as both a debate coach and the Chief Adjudicator.

The Global UGRAD program brings young leaders worldwide to the United States to experience U.S. higher education, gain critical professional skills, explore new cultures, and learn skills to build community-driven projects. As a representative from Vietnam, I have hosted many cultural exchange events in the U.S. to further strengthen the relations between the two countries. As an alumna, I now advance my social projects in Vietnam and collaborate with young leaders in Southeast Asia to expand our regional impact.
